黄俊杰，台湾省高雄县人，美国华盛顿大学的历史学博士，现任台大历史学系教授、台湾中研院中国文哲研究所合聘研究员，当代孟子学研究的专家。对东亚儒学的研究有杰出的成果著有《孟学思想史论》、《孟子》（1993）、《大学通识教育的理念与实践》（1999）、《Mencian Hermeneutics：A History of Interpretations in China》 （2001）等书，编有《孟子思想的历史发展》（1995）、《中国经典诠释传统（一）：通论篇》（2001）、《Norms and the State in China》 （1992）、《Cultural Change in Postwar Taiwan》 （1993）、《Imperial Rulership and Cultural Change in Traditional China 》（1994）、《Time and Space in Chinese Culture 》（1995）等书。
