内容简介

  《英语听力》是为英语专业专升本学生编写的一套听力课教材。其目的在于循序渐进地训练和提高学生的英语听力技能。这套书是根据《高等学校英语专业英语教学大纲》,并参照专科学生的实际英语水平编写而成的。整套教程共分四册,依次为中低级、中级、中高级和高级四个层次,分别供专升本学生在第一、二、三、四学期使用。每册书后附有全部听力内容的文字材料和练习答案,适合课堂教学,也便于自学。本教程内容新颖,题材广泛,题型多样,在练习的设计上力求涵盖以下几个方面的内容:1.听懂并记住数字、时间等细节;2.进行简单的运算;3.推测谈话者的身份、职业及相互关系等;4.理解词组和习惯用语的意思;5.掌握事件的内在联系和因果关系等;6.理解文章的主旨大意;7.领会谈话者的观点、态度、感情和真实意图。《英语听力》第三册共含16个单元。每个单元由"NewsItems","AFeatureReport"和"PassagesandConversations"三大部分组成,一般需要3个课时。第一部分包括两个慢速时事新闻。第二部分为一篇慢速电台广播节目,篇幅较第一部分长,内容广泛,涉及历史、文化、科技、人物等。这两部分都配有生词、注释,以及练习。建议在听过一遍录音之后,即通过练习检验听力理解。如有困难,可多次放音,以达到提高的目的。第三部分含4篇文章和会话,在难度上比前面两个部分有所加强。建议在放音之前,先熟悉掌握生词和注释栏中的单词、词组、人名、地名及文化背景注释,以排除可能因此而造成的听力障碍。每一篇听力材料附带2~3个练习,最好听一遍做一个练习,然后根据学生的具体情况反复放音,直至听懂理解。这套教材同样适用于具有相当听力水平的英语专业和非专业的高校学生及广大的英语爱好者。承蒙美籍教师Dr.LesterNess审校全部听力材料,在此谨致谢意,同时感谢清华大学出版社和清华大学音像出版社的大力支持。由于作者水平有限,书中必有纰漏和错误之处,敬请使用者指教,以便修正。
