　　It is a pity that most of them do not see the present China.I am a survivor of many who did more than I did. While commemorating the 60th anniversary of victory of international antifascist war， it reminds me of what I saw and heard on Chinese battlefields， and also international friends who reported the antiJapanese struggle of the Chinese people on foreign media. Thisbook is dedicated to anti-fascist fighters of the world， to all those who died for the victory of this just war.

He moved to China with his parents in 1917， and started working as a journalist for Peking and Tientsin Times in 1931. He was acquainted with American journalist Edgar Snow from 1933. He began to work as a correspondent for the United Press of the United States in 1937，and joined the China Defense League led by Soong Ching Ling in Hong Kong in 1938. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression he worked hard to report the heroic struggles of the Chinese Communist Party and the Chinese people to the world.
