Mr. Burris， a recognized photographer whose work is represented in private and institutional collections internationally， graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1973 with a degree in commercial art and art history， lie was a photographer for an advertising agency and served as a museum curator before Opening his own gallery in Oklahoma City in 1981.Since that time， he has worked with many celebrated photographers and artists world-wide， organizing over 100 exhibitions. From 1987 to 2007，he served as curator for the Hefner Collection of Chinese art anti from 1997 to 2OOO， he was the Director of the Brett Weston Archives. In 20o8 he created Chinophile， a fine art consulting and sourcing company specializing in contemporary Chinese art and photography. M.r.Burris resides With his wife and family in Edmond， Oklahoma.
