Weichai' branches cover regions like Europe, North America and Asia and its products are exported to more than 110 countries and regions.Sticking to an international development strategy, Weichai creates a synergistic industrial layout around the world. In 2005, Weichai Power Co., Ltd. acquired Hunan Torch Automobile Group Co., Ltd. and built a golden industry chain of heavy trucks (Weichai engine+Fast gearbox+Hande Axle+Shaanxi Automobile Heavy Truck). Then it merged Hunan Torch Group by stock swap, returning to A share from H share and thus creating Weichai mode in the capital market. In 2009, Weichai acquired Moteurs Baudouin, a century-old engine company in France, which bridged Weichai's gap in high-powered high speed diesel engine and allowed the company to accumulate initial experience of overseas acquisition and integration. In 2012, Weichai strategically reorganized Ferretti Group, a world's top manufacturer of luxury yacht in Italy, thus mastering the world's best yacht industry resources and realizing the transformations from investment-driven mode to consumption-driven mode, from land-based power to offshore power and from operating domestic brands to global high-end brands. 2012 also saw Weichai's strategic cooperation with KION Group AG, the global second-largest producer and service provider of forklifts. At the same time, it acquired the world's leading German Linde Hydraulics Company and achieved localization and obtained the world's high-end hydraulic core technology. With the support of Weichai, KION Group AG acquired American Dematic, a world's leading provider of automated logistics in 2016 and created the whole-value, high-end intelligent logistics industry chain of Weichai Logistics Transportation and Distribution+KION Material Handling Equipment + Dematic Smart Warehousing. In 2017, Weichai strategically invested in American PSI, a leading provider of alternative fuel power systems in North America, thus opening the way for its engines to fully enter the North American market. In 2018, Weichai strategically invested in Ceres Power Holdings Plc in UK, a world's leading supplier of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and Ballard Power Systems Co., Ltd. in Canada, a global leader in the hydrogen fuel cell industry successively, to fully deploy new energy businesses and accelerate the breakthrough and guidance in core technologies. Meanwhile, through technical output, capacity cooperation and other means, Weichai has established production bases in India, Myanmar, Ethiopia, Belarus, Russia, etc., achieving the localization of manufacturing.

  Tan Xuguang, a Doctor of Engineering and Senior Economist, from Weifang City, Shandong Province, used to be the Tenth, Eleventh,Twelfth and now is the Thirteenth National People's Congresses Representative.Now as the President of Weichai Power, he also is the Presidium Chairman of CFIE,VicePresident of CEC-CEDA, Vice-President of CMIF, Vice-President of CAAM, and Honorary Chairman of CICEIA, etc. He has successively obtained the honorary titles of National May lst Labor Medal, National Model Worker, The 4th Yuan Baohua Enterprise Management Gold Award, China Meritorious Entrepreneur of Equipment Industry, 2005/2010 CCTV China Economic Person of the Year, Outstanding Quality Person of China, 2018 Liu Yuanzhang Personal Award for Quality Technology (Contribution Award) and APQO Award for Senior Leadership Commitment to Quality 2018, etc.
