This book systematically and in detail introduces the application and calculation methods of ANSYS software in hydraulic engineering through a series of engineering examples. The book is divided into three parts, a total of 12 chapters, namely the first ANSYS basic application (Chapter 1-2), the second APDL language (Chapter 3) and the third engineering example (Chapter 4-12). The basic application of ANSYS mainly introduces the function of the software, menu command options and the basic process of software modeling, and introduces the complete analysis process of two simple structural static problems, so that the reader can understand the basic analysis steps of ANSYS. The APDL language part introduces the features and parameter definitions, usage, etc of the software parameterized programming language. This part of the content makes the reader familiar with the operations of command flows. The engineering examples part introduces the analysis examples of common hydraulic structures in the design of hydraulic engineering. These examples are the actual projects in the author′s work, and the calculation results have been applied to the actual design, which have a good reference value. This book can be used as learning textbook for undergraduates, graduate students, doctoral students and teachers in civil engineering, mechanics and tunneling in science and engineering colleges to learn ANSYS software. It can also be used as a reference book for the researchers engaged in civil engineering, hydraulic engineering to learn and use ANSYS.
