　　“当代中国”丛书包括8个分册，以鲜明的中国价值理念为理论基础，涵盖中共十八大报告中“五位一体”总体战略布局中的经济建设、政治建设、文化建设、社会建设、生态文明建设等五个方面，全面介绍当代中国主要方面的基本情况和中国特色社会主义发展道路。 The Contemporary China Series includes eight books， based on distinct Chinese values， reveals how China promotes coordinated economic， political， cultural， social and ecological advancement. The series comprehensively introduces the basic situation of contemporary China and the development path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. 中国外交既具有外交实践普遍的和国际的特点，更具有中国的民族和文化特色。《当代中国外交》介绍了当代中国外交的宗旨和原则、中国外交的布局、中国的多边外交、中国外交的创新和中国外交的拓展等内容，体现了新时代中国特色大国外交的新理念和新格局。 China’s diplomacy not only has global and international features but has Chinese national and cultural characteristics. Contemporary China’s Diplomacy introduces the aims and principles， patterns， innovation， and extension of contemporary China’s diplomacy as well as its multilateral diplomacy， offering an overall picture of major country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics for the new era.

　　张清敏，法学博士，北京大学国际关系学院外交学系教授兼系主任、博士生导师，长期教授和研究对外政策理论与中国对外政策、外交学理论与中国外交。在上述领域发表众多论著，代表作包括《美国对台军售政策研究：决策的视角》《对外政策分析》《改革开放40年中国外交》以及译著《总统人格：伍德罗·威尔逊的精神分析》《小集团思维：决策及其失败的心理学研究》和《全球化时代的外交：理论与实践》等。曾在亚、欧、美、大洋洲等十余所大学教授与中国外交有关的课程。 Zhang Qingmin （Ph.D.） is professor and Chair of the Department of Diplomacy， School of International Studies， Peking University. His teaching and research interests include theory of foreign policy analysis and Chinese foreign policy， diplomatic theory and China’s diplomacy. He has published widely in these areas， including U.S. Arms Sales Policy Toward Taiwan： A Decision-Making Perspective， Foreign Policy Analysis， and China’s Diplomacy in 40 Years since Reform and Opening-Up， and translation from English to Chinese Woodrow Wilson and Colonel House： A Personality Study， Groupthink： Psychological Studies of Policy Decisions and Fiascoes， and Diplomacy in A Globalizing World： Theory and Practice. With wide international teaching experiences， he has been invited to teach China’s diplomacy related courses at more than a dozen universities in Asia， Europe， America， and Oceania.
