Movie teaching， as a very effective teaching method， has been widely applied to culture teaching. How to make the students get the most knowledge in the limited time and improve the students' cross-cultural knowledge， learning interest and learning efficiency has become a difficult problem in the teaching of western culture.Every movie itself can be regarded as a complexity of multimodal language elements， including pictures， actions， sounds， and so on， which， if efficiently used， can be a carrier for a systematical multimodal teaching， and will hence greatly improve students' integrated capacities.
