The Development of Chinas News Media Report is compiled by the All-China Journalists Association to track and record the development of news media in China on a regular basis. Since the release of the 2020 edition，faced with opportunities and challenges brought by in-depth media convergence， Chinas news media industry has undergone some changes and made some progress，which we hope to capture as much as possible in this 2022 edition.The data for 2020 and 2021 came from the Cyberspace Administration of China， the National Radio and Televi-sion Administration， the National Press and Publication Administration and some news media outlets. The School of Journalism and Communication of Renmin University of China drafted the report. The final report was trans-lated and published by Foreign Languages Press.We are deeply indebted to the above institutions and all the others for their hard work and contribution to this report.
